Two Recent Live Recordings
This tune is one I wrote for my granddaughter, Murphy Elizabeth. She will be one year old this week. Hard to believe. She is growing so fast, and just started walking in the last couple of weeks. She is a real beauty, always smiling, until you change her diaper! I’ve been taking her swimming some. She loves it.
I have shared a recording of this tune here before, but recently I’ve had some opportunities to perform it live. I’ll share two versions, a trio recorded at a club in Asheville, Hotel Eve, and a solo performance from a concert/forum for the Cola Jazz Foundation in Columbia, SC. I have another trio version from a performance at the Sigal Music Museum here in Greenville. That one remains to be edited, but I’ll get there. This trio features Steve LaSpina on bass and Justin Watt on drums.

It has been a really busy summer. I’ve had some good opportunities to perform my music. Now I have some time to work on my music projects and prepare for an upcoming trip. More about that next time.
